thinkCADD’s ALGOR PROFESSIONAL MULTIPHYSICS

Real-world mechanical behavior is often the result of several physical factors acting simultaneously and multiphysics software allows engineers to simulate a product's behavior when those multiple physical factors interact.

The Professional Multiphysics core package includes analysis capabilities for static stress and Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics, Dynamic Design Analysis Method (DDAM), steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, mass transfer and electrostatics.

This core package includes FEMPRO, an easy-to-use, single user interface for finite element modelling, results evaluation and presentation and a suite of modeling capabilities.

FEMPRO features user-friendly tools and wizards to: transfer temperature results to a static stress analysis, MES, linear dynamic or electrostatic analysis; transfer electrostatic results to a static stress analysis, MES or heat transfer analysis; transfer fluid flow results to a static stress analysis or MES; and couple heat transfer and fluid flow analysis to accurately simulate natural, forced or mixed convection.

Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) provides nonlinear, multi-body dynamics with large-scale motion, large deformation and large strain with body-to-body contact, which allows engineers to see motion and its results, such as impact, buckling and permanent deformation.

This core package includes static stress analysis and MES with linear and nonlinear material models; linear dynamic analysis; steady-state and transient heat transfer analysis; weight, center of gravity and mass moment of inertia analysis; linear contact;FEMPRO, an easy-to-use, single user interface for finite element modeling, results evaluation and presentation; and a suite of modeling capabilities.

thinkCADD’s ALGOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGNER

The Professional Designer core package provides static stress, linear dynamic and steady-state and transient heat transfer analysis capabilities. Static stress analysis capabilities include the use of linear materials models, weight, center of gravity and mass moment of inertia analysis and linear contact. Linear dynamic analysis capabilities include natural frequency (modal), natural frequency (modal) with load stiffening, response spectrum, random vibration, frequency response, transient stress (direct integration), transient stress (modal superposition) and critical buckling load. Heat transfer capabilities solve linear and nonlinear thermal designs by considering conduction, convection, heat flux, heat generation, radiation and thermal contact in steady-state or transient analyses.
